Enimem Watches Daughter Hailie Scott Get Homecoming Queen, HollywoodLife.com can reveal that Eminem took special measures to make sure he could watch his little girl become queen!
Eminem may come off hard in his lyrics, but when it comes to real life, the super-star rapper is just a big softie.
Em’s daughter Hailie Scott was crowned Homecoming Queen of Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Mich., on Oct. 4 — and according to a report from the Detroit Free Press, the A-list musician was there for her coronation!
“The staff worked directly with him in order to allow his privacy,” Chippewa Valley Schools Board of Education President Denise Aquino tells the paper. “He wanted it to be her moment and they just assisted him in making that happen. He was looking out when she was announced queen. I’m happy for them, that she was allowed to have her moment.”
Eminem, 40, reportedly watched Hailie walk onto the football field — escorted by mom Kim Scott – from an administrator’s office in the school’s cafeteria. Despite keeping his distance to give Hailie her moment, however, the rapper arrived to the football game with no security or “fanfare.”
Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Is Totally ‘Normal’
When your dad is one of the most famous rappers in the music industry, and you’ve been name-checked on countless tracks, it’s easy to get a big head — but not Hailie!
“To me, she’s just another normal person,” 18-year-old student Tyler Knepp, who was crowned Homecoming King, tells the paper. “She’s trying to live a normal life.”
And it sounds like Eminem is helping her make that happen.
“I think he has separated his fame from being a parent,” Denise says. “I think he’s separated his career and what he may have gone through in his life, and raising a good daughter. I think it’s very, very important to him, and he’s done a good job.”
